Inner Strength (氣Qi) of Hong Kong people gather into hundreds of red balloons. Beginning at the centre of Victoria Harbor, our Qi is transported 2,000km away to rural YunNan, passing through Macau (ex-colonial), ZhenJiang (industrial), BaiSe (minority), LuoPing (agricultural) and JianShui (ancient). On its voyage, this intriguing art event provokes different viewers with
a new approach as their engagement also become part of the art project itself. At the final destination of gigantic rice terraces of YuanYang, children burst the balloons together, releasing our Qi from the city into a different world. The documentary in photography, video, paintings and writings of the project will spark off a multi-media art exhibition.

集香港人的氣於幾百個紅色氣球內,從維港出發,運送到2000公里外的云南省農村,途經前殖民地,工業城市,鄉鎮,古都等地。旅途上該有趣的藝術行動觸發觀眾思維而對藝術作出新定義, 而此互動交流亦成為這藝術項目的一部份。在最終目的地—云南省元陽大型梯田上, 孩子們一起把氣球擠破, 將香港的氣釋放到完全不同的世界。紀錄這次活動的錄影, 攝影, 繪畫和文字, 將會以多媒體形式展出。
